We are a Full Time professional True Custom Drum Manufacturing shop, and Vintage Drum Restoration specialists. We’ve been manufacturing and restoring drums for almost 35 years starting in back 1985.
We work extremely hard to handcraft and/or restore the kit of your dreams.
We are full-time Craftsmen, Artisans, and Professional Drummers with a varied track record of Recorded Albums, Tech Gigs, Sound Gigs, and have had the opportunity to work with some of the best names in the music business. We are the specialized drum service centre for Gretsch, Yamaha, Pearl, Sonor, and Ludwig drums in Canada.

Why TRS Custom Drums?
We are true ‘wood-workers’, and understand the nuances of wood, the aging of wood, the extreme variability of wood, and, the work required to get a not only a beautiful finish, but also an awesome sounding drum.
Our craft and passion is to design a timeless and professional drum that performs as desired in all playing situations. A handcrafted drum kit and/or snare drum that not only looks great, and sounds great, but gives the drummer a great sense of pride. To design a drum that will respond truthfully to the characteristic of the drum head, and allow a wide and deep tuning range proportional to the drum’s size, bearing edge type, and hardware.
We are also the choice for custom drum servicing and repairs for the major drum manufacturers here in Canada. We are avid collectors of drums and have a large inventory of vintage and collectable snares and kits. Need vintage drums refinished or refurbished…properly?
We are the ‘go-to’ guys…. a vast knowledge of vintage drums and edges and woods, have made us first-hand historians….and as builders, we know the sounds and tones of pretty much any and all the drums out there.

We are also avid collectors of drums and have a large inventory of vintage and collectable snares and kits. Our vast knowledge of vintage drums and edges and woods, have made us first-hand historians….and as builders, we know the sounds and tones of pretty much any and all the drums out there.
We offer total custom drum set design, repairs and refurbishing. We can repair, re-wrap, or re-lacquer your drums. We can find you those old vintage hard to find parts, or we can have them custom re-manufactured. Shells can be repaired or replaced. Bearing edges can be reshaped or re-cut if needed, and original parts and badges can be found…hopefully. We can even have your hardware custom powder coated, or re-plated, in any colour for a new and cool look.
